Forums:

Hello,

I'm new to development with Gracenote and I wanted to see if there was some sort of ZIP file with sample code(s) using Gracenote's Web APIs? If there is can someone point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Throdne

Hi there,
Welcome to the site! We do have some basic "Getting Started" code on the Web API Platform at page https://developer.gracenote.com/web-api#gettingstarted. Since these require HTTP POST'ing of XML, you'll probably need to use a tool like cURL (command line tool, read http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3007253/send-post-xml-file-using-curl... for hints) or a browser extension like "Simple REST Client" for Chrome (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/simple-rest-client/fhjcajmcbml...) works pretty well.

There is also an unofficial Python wrapper to the Web API called Pygn on Github: https://github.com/cweichen/pygn

Let us know if any of those are helpful!
