A few weekends ago, we were at Outside Hacks, the official hackathon for San Francisco's Outside Lands Music Festival. 115 hackers descended on the North Beach offices of Weebly to imagine and build apps to transform the music festival experience.
At the end of the weekend, 25 hacks were presented, including our favorite: an app that suggests food and drink to pair with the band you're watching at the festival. The overall winners of the hackathon made a rideshare app to help people get home from the festival. Their app was integrated into the official Outside Lands app and used at the festival this last weekend.
